San Fransisco Food Guide

BY MADELINE TAYLOR

This past week I took a trip with my friends to San Fransisco. The city is filled with so much interesting architecture and history, but my favourite part by far was all the amazing food we ate.

The first spot we tried was Craftsman & Wolves – a recommendation from a food TikToker Emily Mariko. They’re most famous for their savoury muffins with a soft-boiled egg in the centre. Paired with a side of Himalayan sea salt and carrots from the farmers market, this was amazing. I was obsessed with the soft centre and the contrast of the salt. If you’re visiting I recommend trying this spot.

The next restaurant we tried was called Water Bar and it’s safe to say this meal blew me away. Not only was the atmosphere of the restaurant extremely charming but the food was top-notch. It’s a Seafood restaurant nestled under the Oakland Bay Bridge. Since I was feeling pretty full from my previous lunch I kept it light for dinner. I got the scallops, broccolini salad and lobster bisque. Living in Vancouver I have a very high expectation when it comes to seafood and this restaurant met those expectations. San Fransisco has amazing food and I was so grateful to try these spots.
