The discussion of what’s happening between Israel and Palestine was discussed during the lecture this week and I had a few takeaways that I wanted to discuss. We have discussed how fake news circulates a lot on the internet especially when there are big political debates online. For someone like myself who was very uneducated on the topic of Israel and Palestine, I found it extremely difficult to find accurate resources online that were not biased. It becomes apparent when big occurrences happen within the world and you see news outlets releasing information that is often biased onto one side. It makes me sad to think about people in different parts of the world where their news is delivered to them in a lot of propaganda and they aren’t allowed to learn about different sides.
